Effective 1 October 2009, Gino Fiore has become MESPAS’ new Director of Sales and Marketing. Before joining MESPAS in early 2009 as Area Sales Manager for Asia, Mr. Fiore was responsible for the Managed Security Services Product Line at Siemens. He is succeeding Georg Hauser, who headed the Sales and Marketing unit since January 2006.

On 1 October 2009, Georg Hauser has taken the role to develop new business opportunities and to market the software system in fields like power, industry, mills, mining, food processing, off-shore platform etc. He joined the company in 2006 after a successful career with a major diesel engine company for 35 years.

In early October, MESPAS conducted its first Business Partner Conference. Participants from all over the world participated at the two-day event. The main goal of the conference was to deepen the knowledge about MESPAS and its offering, to provide a platform for discussing and exchanging experiences in terms of working with mespas R5, and, finally, to network with other MESPAS business partners from all over the world. The conference was regarded as a resounding success by everyone in attendance.
