Record shipment delivery date
You enter the shipment date and location, if you received a delivery of goods but it was not yet checked which of the ordered parts where received.
1.Go to menu "Procurement" > "Orders". 2.Select one or several orders (using the Shift- or Ctrl-key). 3.Click on "Set effective delivery date" . 4.Enter the date, country and port or city of the delivery. There may already be a date and location from order "Planned Delivery" entered by the purchaser in office. 5.Click on "OK" .
You may also record the shipment arrival for one order into the shipment location tab, where you can see the whole tracking history of that shipment:
1.Select an order and open it with a click on "Details" or double-click. 2.Open the tab "Shipment location" 3.Click on "Set effective arrival date" and proceed as above.
An icon in front of the vessel name indicates whether the order was not assigned to the ship schedule in office , there is missing data , the delivery is before the arrival in port or after the arrival departure, or if the delivery is during port stay . To view the Ship schedule entry hover the mouse over the vessel name .
The order has now the status "Shipment received" and this status with date and location is visible in the office after synchronisation.
Additionally the shipment location will be set to the location of the effective arrival.
In both cases the delivery date and location are shown in the order tracking section in the office after the next synchronisation and in shipment location the location will be set to the one of the effective arrival (replacing the location of the planned arrival). On parts level the column "Port received" and date received (DRcv) will also show the location and date of the effective arrival, but the quantity received will stay empty.
You can delete a date that was entered by mistake with a click on "remove effective arrival date". The date and respective location will be removed from shipment location and on part level.
