Order tracking

Introduction

The section Order tracking allows you to track the ordered goods between the moment the order has been placed until the vessel confirms the delivery of all goods. The order tracking search may answer you a variety of questions concerning the current location and delivery of goods.

•The data entered in this section, will not be transferred to the suppliers.

•Details can be added only after an order has been sent.

•The confirmation of partial or full delivery of goods is entered on the vessel and synchronised to the office. The reception of a shipment (prior or without checking the content of the shipment - i.e. if all ordered parts are received) can be entered in the office or on the vessel.

•By default all information about the ship schedule is entered on the vessel. If you prefer to enter the ship schedule in the office, you may ask you MESPAS Project Manager to activate the Procurement Presetting "Port based order tracking".

•In case of a Manual order, there is no Order tracking function available (as it is not needed in a Manual order).
